Hi everyone! So today is the first song lyric insight thingamabob. I found this song a few days ago, and I instantly loved it! The message is great, and that's what I want to talk about!
If you're looking for a Christian group that's modern, Bonray is a great group to check out. I only started listening a few days ago, and I'm already hoping they're on the Winter Jam line up :)
MAIN IDEA of Today:
Jesus is the only One who can fulfill us, not the world.
"Find a Way" by Bonray

[Verse 1]
Pouring over maps just tryna find it
Searching through the stars has left me blinded
And nowhere really feels like home
Somethin' in my bones says don't stop trying (trying)
[Pre-Chorus]
Oh
Show me where to go
Oh
I can't do this alone
[Chorus] We can find a way in this together Find a way, find a way
{lyrics from Genius; thank you :)}
I love these words to this song because it is talking about where we choose to find our self-worth, peace, happiness, etc. Basically, it shows the importance of how we choose to fill the void inside of us.
#1 THE WORLD ISN'T IT
We are not going to find satisfaction in the things of this world, y'all. The idols in our life - could be social media, friends, clothes, looks, video games, etc. - aren't going to fill our void! They'll make us "happy" temporarily, but after that, we start searching all over again. So, what can fill our void?
#2 WE NEED HELP
We can't find our way alone. We need someone to guide us and sustain us, because when we try to do it alone, we end up in the cycle of brokenness and unhappiness that the things of this world can steer us to, also.
#3 JESUS IS THE WAY
There is only 1 place to find the satisfaction and the guidance we as broken people crave. That place is Jesus! He is the only one who can fulfill us and give us peace, so we no longer turn to the world to fill our void!
MAIN IDEA
Jesus is the only One who can fulfill us, not the world.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." ~ John 14:6
I hope you guys enjoyed this! Go give Bonray a listen, they're super talented! Thanks for reading, see you Monday! :)
